Arthur Schopenhauer writes 38 things we could do whenever one argues. WIth these few tips, Schopenhauer helps us win the argument. These many different ways:

1. Exaggerate your opponent's position.

2. Whatever your opponent says, make a different meaning.

3. Simply ignore the other person's position.

4. Wait till the end to say your conclusion.

5. Utilize the other person's thoughts to bring him down.

6. Use your opponents words and mean something else. Make him/her confused.

7. Ask a lot of questions.

8. Angry the other person.

9. Find different ways in which you can use the other person's response in your favor.

10. "If your opponent answers all your questions negatively and refuses to grant you

any points, ask him or her to concede the opposite of your premises".

11. Dont ask him/her to agree with you if they agree with you in some ways.

12. Use any words that will help you make with your argument.

13. GIve your apponent a counterproposition.

14. Bluff the other person.

15. If one of your points is hard to prove, leave it till the end.

16. FInd a proposition inconsistent.

17. Find another meaning to a proposition.

18. If you know that your opponent's proposition will allow him to win, then don't let

him finish.

19. Make your opponents argument less meaningful.

20. Even if the other person aggries with your propositions, dont rush into your

conclusion, and make him accept it.

21. "When your opponent uses an argument that is superficial and you see the false

hoodm you can refute it by setting forth its superficial character.

22. Dont accept anything that your opponent tells you to.

23. Contradict your opponents proposition in order to make him exaggerate it.

24. Deduct something that is false.

25. Make a contradiction of a general statement.

26. "Use your opponents arguments against himself".

27. Make him even more angry by getting energetic.

28. Make a statement that will make the audience think that the other person has lost.

29. Talk about something else when you feel like youre loosing.

30. Make sure to use your authority.

31. "Declare yourself to be an incompetent judge".

32. Put him in an unpleasant situation.

33. Admit what your opponent says, except for the conclusion.

34. WHen your opponent wont answer what you asked, you know that yoy got them

where you want them.

35. WOrk on the motive of the other person.

36. "You may also puzzle and bewilder your opponent by mere bombast".

37. "Should your opponent be in the right but, luckily for you, choose a faulty proof, you

can earily refute it and then claim that you have refuted the whole position".

38. When you see that your opponent is winning, be rude to him/her.

All this tips require you to be and think smart. Not only that, but you also have to know the situation in which you are, and try to bring you the win .

Personally, I like getting into arguments, but mostly with my family. I know that what they do to win is show their authority. My favorite ones are becoming rude and ignoring them. These really dont help me with my family, becuase they then get mad at me and i get in trouble. But now I know many other things I could do to win the argument.
